Many people have written about blogging tips and also how to write articles to advertise blogs, but from my experience observing others there is only one real way to be successful with this and that is be controversial, and get a buzz going and a thread on your blog that people will want to follow. No matter what you need to achieve that first, and then start to profit from it.

Hey, I’m not the expert but over the past few years I’ve been testing few strategies and learn from it. I guess now it’s time to move forward and this year I aim must make my blog as one of the best around.

Honestly, most of the advice for bloggers online is given by other blogging experts. Well, I would like to turn this around and offer you some advice as a reader. Below you’ll find a list of things I wish all the bloggers will follow.

1. Easy to understand content.

As I mentioned before, I’m not the expert but I tried my best to make sure my content is easy to understand. I don’t come from English speaking background so my way of presentation may sound weird but no matter what I’m just trying to be around share experiences.

2. Post relevant content.

Your blog content should be relevant to what you want to do. Just imagine, if I’m about to read 100′s of blog posts it’s obvious I’ve already done some serious filtering and making sure the posts is genuine and reading from someone who has a real job.

Readers normally will pick blogs that they think are relevant to their career or life in some way. If you’ve posted good articles and write articles that relevant audiences then the process of getting loyal readers has become much easier.

3. Be consistent.

Consistency is the key to any blog success. Keep posting relevant articles and people will start become your loyal subscribers. No point having a blog that being updated once a week. Now you do the thinking, “should you keep going there? Are there any updates I can follow regularly? If you want regular readers, then be a regular writer.

4. Interesting Content.

Interesting content is the biggest issue most bloggers could ever face. To write an interesting content you need good writing skills and some brilliant ideas. You don’t have it right?

Don’t worry too much about it, just write what you can and try to improve your writing skills by reading other people’s blogs. Believe me in no time you will learn all the necessary writing skills that will surely boost your blog into one of the top blog around. What really matter in a blog is the content value. If you’re giving readers to read something interesting and fresh they will stick to your blog.

5. Be Professional.

Writing a blog is like writing an essay. You should have beginning, middle and a conclusion. Don’t just write a blog post and left hanging with head and tail. You must respect the rules of composition and the anatomy of any good story by having those in every article you write. Professionally written articles will always get attention from the readers.

6. Have authority.

Be the expert and don’t just post the articles but you’ve no idea what you’re talking about. Don’t make people question you. Example: If you run a golf blog, it doesn’t make you an expert everything about golf. Same with if you’re running a political blog you need to make sure you know about politics so that the readers know you’re a qualified political expert.

I read somewhere about how to write a good article. When writing an article; just write what you know, tell other what you don’t know and tell others what do you think. By doing those the readers will understand that you’re just sharing and are seeking for more info.

7. Be yourself and be genuine.

Millions of blogs exists today but are they for real? How can you verify that? Same people might be talking the same topic but I bet you probably noticed some of them are totally different from few but people still reading it, why?

You see… Blog readers mind are simple. When they found something interesting and valuable they will think you’ve brilliant opinion. Hey, if they want to read professionally written articles then they can go journalist blog but they are not. So, people read your blog because they think your opinion is interesting or valuable. They feel you’ve an interesting points and your article are genuine.

8. Enjoy your writing.

I saw some blogs recently used a lot of smillies but when I read the articles I noticed one thing the writer are not enjoying it. You see… You don’t have to smile when you blog, but you should enjoy writing. You must do something you love to do not something you have to. By loving what you do, you will produce a better article rather than just an article. Posting an article should be fun and each article read by your readers they should feel the relationship and get maximum satisfaction. Don’t just tossing up some content that makes your readers feel bad when reading it.

9. Reachable.

People will start hanging around your blog once they fall in love and when the article inspires them. No matter what you do make sure you’re accessible. Reply comments, reply emails and start communicating when them regularly because they’re loyal readers and can bring you more readers for sure.

10. Be something and do something different.

Doing something different is all about your personality. People like to read the blog based on knowledge you have and experiences in some areas. You may not be a good writer but the value to what you’re sharing is the key. What you really need to do is keeping people interested in what you’re doing and thinking will be much more challenging if you never do anything interesting. Most of the blogs I read are an output of lives so full they crave to be documented, not random musings from people bored with television.

One of the best ways to improve as a blogger is to be a good blog reader. Hold yourself to the superior demands to which you hold your favorite bloggers.

You can have a successful blog by learning from experiences. No matter what you do sometimes you have to feel it your own self and go through all the necessary hurdles to learn the best strategy to use. By focusing to what you good at, being persistent and being  consistent you can become one of the best bloggers around.
