Everyone that comes online wants to make money and that’s including you and me. Nothing wrong with that! To make a living with online business is now has become part of earning extra income.

Now, I bet you do have tons of business ideas that you want to pursue? If yes, then you might be wondering if it is going to work and if it is going to make you a tons of money, right?

To be honest, almost 99% of the ideas will NOT work. No one knows whether the business ideas you have is going to work or not. Sorry to say this but most of your ideas will fail. But don’t worry about that because rather than accepting the idea you will fail and instead of asking people what they think about your idea, here is what you need to do whether you will success or not:

1. Start the business

Just do it. Just do what you want and learn from it. What you really need is passion and gut to do it that’s all. If you are really passionate about your idea, you need to go with your gut and just do it. Now, this does not mean you’ll essentially succeed, but you’ll never know if you don’t try it out.

I bet you should have gone through what I’m about to share you. I believe you have asked tons of your friends about the ideas you have and ended up having doubts and mixing of opinions. Now, let me ask you this. Do you think all your friends will understand the industry that you want to do better than you do? I bet not! Most people will only give you their ideas from their point of view and will never understand the industry you are trying to get into. So, do you think they won’t know if your idea is good or not? Hey, they might be wrong even if they are in the same industry.

What I’m trying to say is you can ask for other people’s advice just to brain-storm and getting some ideas but from my experience you just have to do what you want to do. Just do it and learn from those mistakes. You will find it is more appropriate.

2. Save your money

Yeah you might spend more time and probably more money but it worth of try because it’s your passion and something you to find your own success.

Hey, every business nowadays needs investment. What really matters is how you spend and earn from it. As we all should know by now, when starting a business money will be tight, so you shouldn’t take things easy when it comes to laying the basic groundwork. For example, there is no need to hire a personal coach (paying $1000 of dollars) when you don’t even have your business ideas planned out properly.

The point I am trying to make is that there is no need to spend thousands of dollars on things that won’t help your business make money especially when you first get started. Save your money for better reasons.

The first thing you should know when you want to start your business is to reserve all of your cash for things like business infrastructure (server, domain, autoresponder, website designer), supplies, and potentially web marketing if you have enough cash. And most importantly, always keep a good portion of your cash on reserve for the unexpected. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!

3. Prove me wrong

Now, I said your idea sucks, right? But I believe you will never accept that and you might say “who are you to say such things”.

Okay, let’s get straight to the point. You strongly believe that your idea is right and will make you tons of money right? So, let’s assume you have started your business.

Now what you need to do is prove me wrong. And the only way you can prove me or anyone else wrong is by making money. Show me that you’re making money and able to cover all your monthly expenses and you have enough money to spend for your own things.

Prove it now!

For example, if your business can bring in $1,000 a month and your monthly expenses are not exceeding $1,000 month then I believe you already have a platform that you can work but if your expenses exceeding $1,000 a month then you should understand your idea is wrong.

Now, if you are having trouble getting revenue, I don’t know what to say other than to try harder and learn where you idea goes wrong. I wish I could tell you the secret recipe that can make your business to explode, but sincerely I really don’t know it. The secret recipe is different for every business. The secret is in yourself by working on the idea your believe in. You need to identify how to tweak and make money with the idea.

One of the best advices that I can give you is to look at your competitors and see what they are doing. Learn from them and it should give you a good understanding of what you need to do to make money. You can copy but to be honest it might not work for you since most business run by using different ideas and different approach.

4. Be persistent

Regardless whether your business idea is working or not most important do not stress out. Keep yourself focus and persistent. Keep calm and find appropriate solutions. Keep trying different approach and ideas until you manage to find something that work.

If you are making money, be ready since you’re half the way from not having a shitty business idea.

What you really need now is to do a profitable business. The best ways I can think off right now is by either cutting your costs down (which could be a bad idea) or by figuring out creative ways to make more money. As you should know, the trends are changing fast and you got to be on par with it. To do this you must spend wisely and come out with some ideas that flow with the trends and technologies.

From my experience, I will choose the second option. To do a profitable business I should spend time on sales, marketing, and create new business ideas.

Whatever path you decide to choose, the best advice I can give you is to stop dreaming. This happen to everyone, where you’ll start day dreaming what if can get more sales or what you can do with the money you make. Dreaming is a waste of time and all it will do is caused you not to reach your goals. If you really want to achieve your goals you have to take action on the things you’ve planned and work much harder. And once you succeed you still can’t dream because everything isn’t in your control. Things like server crash, hackers, and recessions can crush your business and cause you to go broke.

YOU CAN DO IT!

So, there you go. I know this blog post is a bit teasing and it might annoy some of you out there. I believe this is the first time I post something like this compared to most of my blog posts, but the main reason I post this article is to tell “You Can Do It”. If you really want to get what you want, you must stop asking people for input on a business idea you may have. Just because someone was successful in the past or went to university, it doesn’t mean that they’ll know a good business idea.

For example if you asked me what I thought about Twitter earlier, I would have said “they will fail” because who want to know what others do now? I don’t care and others might not care either. But I was wrong and I probably will be wrong when it comes to forecast thousands of other business ideas.

Remember, just because someone is in the industry you are trying to enter, it doesn’t mean they’ll know what’s best for you! You will know better since it’s your passion and you know what are best way to approach the business idea.

What you really need is a gut to just do it and be persistent till the end!
