About Me

If you think and observe properly about all the people that have high paying jobs you’ll notice that some of them are talented and some are not. Regardless of how good they are, they are all see things differently or in another work be a “rock stars”.

So what is this rock star formula anyway?

If you asked me 3 years ago I didn’t know the answer, but now I think I’ve got it. If you want to become a “rock star” in your industry, you have come to the right place and you have to do the right things from the beginning. Period!

If you don’t think good things can happen to you, just look at me. Just 3 years ago no one in the online marketing industry knew about me. But now I’ve been offered to do public talk about Internet Marketing, came out in the local newspapers as the new rising entrepreneur and I do these all from home. A five-figure income isn’t enough to retire, but at 32 years old these weren’t bad offers.

With a bit of hard work and a few other tricks, you can become a rock star in your industry and get the reputation that makes money. And believe me once you did the right things, the rest will come by itself.

The Kanicen Story

The Early Years

On January 19, 1977, I was born in Historical City of Malacca, Malaysia. From the beginning I had this to be no.1 attitude and entrepreneurship in my blood, but I’ll get into that a bit later. When I was 11 years old, my mom decided to move to a rural area called Rantau, Negeri Sembilan. At first I struggled a bit just like most people went to a new area and find awkward. My mom’s first job was a house-cleaner and she got a second job in the morning as a rubber-tapper, in which she had to walk a few miles to get to everyday to earn some money. But because of my mom’s aggressive nature and hard work ethic, my niece and I were able to live a middle class lifestyle. My mom kept running around to earn more money as we have to pay house rental, utilities and school fees. We never live rich lifestyle since our house-hold income not even reaching RM20k a year.

Throughout my childhood, I love sports and my passion is in athletic and soccer. I was surrounded by teachers that keep guiding me to become one of the best athletes in the country following my brothers foot step.

I won every event I participated in. Training for four hours almost every day, I soon learnt the value of discipline, hard work, having a good coach and most importantly, the satisfaction of realizing goals. I’m very much into nature, making activities such as camping, jungle-trekking, fishing, and mount-climbing a part of his life.  I was totally fascinated with life and all living things, not only those having two legs!

I understand that although I was not born wealthy and an easy life, I had a hard working family that support and love him deeply. The hard life I had in my younger days, seeing my mother and brothers struggling to make a living made me just go along with life without expecting anything from them. I walked almost 10km to school every day with only 20 cents as pocket money.  It made me grow up understanding not to expect help from others in any situation unless I first helped myself. Because of that I put efforts into winning everything since I can earn some money to help my family. Between the young ages of 7 to 12 I was already recognized as one of the most promising runners of the country, after representing the state of Malacca at the age of 7 for the under-10 years old category, and Negeri Sembilan state under-12 years old category. I had only one thing on his mind and that is ‘to win in everything’ in life. I did superbly in sports but was rather average in his studies.

Between the ages of 13 to 17 years old, I emerged as the most promising runner and soccer player in Negeri Sembilan. My cabinet was filled with medals won from sports and athletics. I represented the school, state to even higher levels by winning everything that came along and become the youngest athlete to compete at the higher level championships, where I was placed first for all the events participated. Soon I was then hailed as the upcoming runner who will shine in the future of Malaysian sports and has made the man I am now. To be a winner and to be no.1 in everything I do.

I was briefly aware that my dreams of greater athletic success were well within reach.  However, my dreams were soon crushed as he became a victim of sports politics which is common in this country.  My world came crashing down.  All efforts in training and the hard work he put in came to nothing.  The disappointment was so great at that time I felt that I had lost everything in life.  That was when my elder brother came and counseled to ‘move on with life and make things happen again’. “You can still create your own future”, he said.

Laying down years of intensive training, I shifted my focus from competitive sports to studies.  In 1997 I graduated and become an analyst programmer for an emerging IT company.  However, I soon realized that this was not really what I wanted for life. After moving out from my home I started seeking for the life that I wanted. For a few years, I was traveling around Malaysia and Singapore while playing soccer. I constantly am upgrading myself through reading widely. I started to get the hang of making a living but still did not manage to make many inroads into wealth building, due to lack of proper guidance in this area. I felt that I actually failed in almost everything I did.

I was then back to Kuala Lumpur and soon realized that without family love, support and motivation I will not be getting anywhere closer to my dreams. That’s when I started to get my life on the right path. Working with a monthly salary which allowed me to support my family and education, I kept on improving my money-making skills.

But I was in for more heartbreak and bad luck.  One day, I got terminated by the company I worked for years without offering a valid reason. Within a span of three days, I had two accidents. My girlfriend left me and I got cheated by my business partner that left me broke on that fateful day with only one cent in my wallet. It was on January 19, 2006 – my 29th birthday.

What could be worse than this? :)

But thank God I still had buddies, and his close friends, brothers who came along to comfort me in the hour of distress.

Entrepreneurship

I soon been ‘forced’ to attend an Internet Marketing seminar conducted by one of Malaysia’s leading Internet mentors. That one seminar had a profound effect on me.  It changed the way I saw things in my life and within just 15 minutes in the room I was convinced that the future of my business and money dreams lie in the Internet. Without losing any time, I immediately started out to work on building my Internet business. Within 3 months I started to make serious money and was very excited toying with the idea that I would one day become one of Malaysia’s rising stars again – this time, as an entrepreneur.

A New Life

One of my friend gave me one of the best presents on my birthday with this piece of advice, ‘too many things happened in your life but you still can’t see things yet, so now probably God wants me to show you something… why not let me help you kick off your own projects.  Why depend on others anymore since you have the skills’.

That’s when I realized that I got to do something for myself rather than expecting help from others. With all the problems that happened on my birthday – getting fired, having accidents, getting jilted, getting cheated in business and being broke, I said, ‘That’s the best birthday present I’ve ever received. Thanks, guys.  And, thank you, God’.

With new motivation, I was soon off on my new journey to the world of success. I began the journey apprenticing from more successful people like Bob Proctor; world-renowned motivator, Dale Beaumont, Robin Sharma, who wrote the unforgettable book, The monk who sold his Ferrari and many other close buddies, all offered him kind words and useful advice.

Now, I am a sought-after speaker on topics such as:

  1. Internet Marketing Newbie’s Exact Road.
  2. Up-Start Your Business with Zero Dollars.
  3. SEO For Business Growth.
  4. Lost in Life, Back on Track.

The Good Life

I am now lives in Kuala Lumpur with my adorable Mum and very supportive brothers and sister. While luring other youngsters on the ‘to-do-list’ and lots of corporate training travel plans, I am now looking forward to the challenges ahead, and to spending more time enjoying life.

The Internet marketing company started taking off and with the money I made I started investing in a few other companies. I invested around few hundred thousand getting a proper house and created another company called I One Websifu, a software development, website design, seo optimization and web marketing company. Websifu created a lot of buzz when it came out and I surely know that I would end up making tons of money soon. I am now working on few ideas so that I can make my dreams come true and profitable.

Today

This now brings me up to date. Other than the Internet marketing company I also founded a few more companies such as Websifu, which currently running on a slow mode focusing Home Based Business Personal Coaching and Corporate Training. Some of the things I did didn’t do well and made me lose some money whereas others have done great. But after 32 years of living I have learned one really important thing: life isn’t fair! If you don’t like the cards you are dealt with, do something to change them. And for some ungodly reason, if you are unable to change them, keep moving forward and don’t look back. All you can do is trying and JUST DO IT.

Currently, I am working with my own Internet Business Personal Coaching and Mentoring Programs. I believe it will grow and able to guide new entrepreneurs that can make money.

The Future

I wish I had a crystal ball that could tell me what the future holds for me, but I don’t have one. Luckily enough, I have made more money than I have lost and I have been able to leverage that money into investments like offline businesses, houses, .com companies, the stock market, cars, and best of all my parents. Hopefully my investments will pay off so that I can continue to do what I am doing and not work for anyone else.

Soon, I will publish my first offline book. I spent more than a year to write it and hopefully by early next year my publisher can give a go.

Over the next few years my number one goal is to share what I have learned with you so that you can have a better life than me. If you have any questions or need any help with anything, please don’t be shy to ask because I know one thing for sure.

I WILL help you!

To your health and success,
