Custom Search

Getting your articles index in search engines could be troublesome if you have no idea what is SEO. I bet maybe some of you have been trying very hard to index your articles in search engines. This is one of the major reasons why most marketers failed to make money online. Writing good articles is just not enough. You need to submit to article directories, social sites and other relevant sites to improve your website popularity and reach others so that you can drive traffic to your site.

Hey, it may sound hard but don’t worry since I have few tips that will effectively get your articles indexed in search engines as fast as possible probably within few hours.

How?

Here’s what I normally do…

Step 1: Post articles in blog

Make sure to post articles in the blog as frequent as possible with good content and relevant to your site. Search engines love blog because they know blog contents are being updated almost daily and for that reason they will crawl your blog frequently. So, make sure to post your blog with articles with good, fresh and unique content.

Step 2: Digg

Submit your articles to Digg. Go and register at www.Digg.com now if you don’t have an account. Digg is a user driven social content website and everything on Digg is user submitted articles. The process will get a lot easier if you have a blog. There’s plugin called Digg which you can use to submit your content where other readers read your submission and vote (Digg) for what they like best. If your story receives enough Diggs, it’s promoted to the front page for other visitors to see and read. This is where the traffic will flow to your site. Recently, there are news that Google is acquiring Digg. If it really goes as plan, Digg will be part of Google’s family and naturally submitted contents will be more favorable for search engine ranking.

Step 3: Squidoo

Squidoo is the popular publishing platform, interesting social networking site and community that makes it easy for you to create “lenses” online. Lenses are pages, kind of like flyers or signposts or overview articles that gather everything you know about your topic of interest–and snap it all into focus. You’re allowed to create free, single page marketing page and market it. Due to its web influence and known as the ‘Authority” site, Squidoo can easily skyrocket your website to top of the search engines especially Google within short week or even a few days.

But because of that a lot of spammers and black hat marketers abusing Squidoo, they (Google and Squidoo) took dramatic action against these spammers and force them to remove all the contents that rated as spam. It has given a really great impact to many marketers. Whatever the case is, if you do it right in my own opinion, Squidoo is still a very powerful tool yet more effort is required now to create a good quality lens to avoid being identified as spam. I have previously written an article onPLR Articles, A Great Way To Earn a Respectable Income which you can read more how I did it.

Step 4: Twitter

The most latest phenomenal marketing tool which can boost your site traffic instantly. If you yet to have an account at www.twitter.com make sure get it now. Twitter is a tool that used to update others what you’ve been doing currently and If you have a blog you can download this amazing twitter marketing tool called TwitterSifu which I created recently. It tweets your new and older posts automatically and its free. :)

Step 5: EzineArticles

If you know the importance of submitting articles to article directories then you should never miss EzineArticles. Google loves EzineArticles and crawls the website for new content several times an hour; there is no need for you to wait for weeks to get your article indexed in search engines. They are the best of all and will get your articles index in search engines fast. Submitting articles to articles directories is the best way for you to gain an extremely valuable inbound link. There are 2 basic things you should know when submitting articles to these directories. First, your article(s) should be unique and interesting. Avoid submitting same article to other directories. Second, make sure to include a link to your website with the right keyword in the author’s signature.

So, that’s about it. I’ve been using these marketing techniques over the past few years and hopefully it will help you instantly improve your SEO tasks. I personally noticed that once the article gets indexed by search engine and consistently doing all the methods you will begin to gain tons of traffic when it ranks high.

You have any other suggestions? Share please…

Cheers! :)
