Once you sign on to Twitter for the first time, you will be welcomed by a question at the top of the screen saying “What Are You Doing?” which may sound impolite. The factual answer to this may not be anything predominantly intriguing. Without a doubt, it may be “Log on to Twitter”. It may go without saying, but this question need not be answered in full every time you read it. The more basic and ordinary your Twitter updates are, the less likely people are to follow you. Tweet, Tweeting, Re-Tweeting? What is that? I bet if someone mentioned those words few years back you might be asking around about it. Tweet? Hmm…
Honestly, the word sounds weird and even a little bit awkward, but it has become common word among Twitter users. basically, a re-tweet is when someone picks up on a “Tweet” you have made and, adding your Twitter ID by means of an @ sign, lets their own followers know what you have shared. It could get massive exposure depending how many users the person that re-tweet your tweet. It could get you quite a lot of attention that can bring you massive traffic. Read more... Twitter has become THE tool for people who want something to become known widespread in a short space of time. Every once in a while, mainly since the internet world under the telescope where it is so small you could fit it in your pocket, there comes a trend which very rapidly takes the world by storm and gets people talking and keep talking. In which other people hear these people and want to know more. As night follows day, it goes from a niche, little-known hunt for enthusiasts to something that you cannot avoid no matter how much you try to ignore it. In 2009, that thing has been Twitter.
